How marvellous to marvel ’bout the great and wide unknown
How wonderful to wonder ’bout the things we’ve not been shown…
The prospect of a treasure is what keeps the digger digging
The secrets that are hidden are what keeps the seeker seeking…
How dull our lives would be if we had answers to all questions
How frangible our minds, if we weren’t open to suggestions…
The Journey is irrelevant to those who are unmoving
And growth holds no appeal for those impervious to improving…
The Knower’s life is static if he abnegates his doubt
His brittle assertations seek to keep The Other out…
When difference is a source of angst and other‘ness a threat,
our walls become our prison cells and ‘fear’ our epithet.
Beautiful friend ??
Awww…. thanks, Scott!
