This is Part 2. Part 1 is here.
I LOVE how kids think! I love their unbridled creativity… and when you allow them the freedom to create and play (without hovering and controlling and telling and instructing)… I think children come up with the most profound stuff – on their own.
Here’s some more pics of what my kids create – and how they play – when left to their own devices:

You probably can’t see them – but this is a game where the “Emergency Robots” are being washed away down a flooded river!

Morgan is very jealous of American kids who get to go “Trick or Treating” (which is not a big *thing* here in South Africa). She decided to make herself a “witch hat”… I think it’s pretty impressive! She also applied her own make-up.

Morgan’s “Witch Outfit”. She says that if we had Trick-or-Treating (here)… then this is what she’d wear.

Joah building a creation out of rocks, and other bits and pieces collected from the ground (at a nursery)…

There’s actually a whole story around this Bug Homestead. It has a garden, a cabbage patch and a lightning pole.
And finally…. these two photos were taken by Nick (on his old cell phone – hence the bad quality). He was busy working in his studio… and Morgan kept appearing at his door in new outfits…. hee-hee!
And… for pure nostalgia’s sake… here’s some photos of what I used to get up to when I was a kid…
