We’ve been up Table Mountain a few times – mostly for the view.  I think most people go up there for the primary purpose of the awesome view.  Nick and I went up on our wedding anniversary this year.  However, by the time we reached the top, the clouds had settled in and there was absolutely no view!  Everything was shrouded in mist – in a sense, it felt almost eerie. I overheard a few people complaining that it was a waste of cable-car money… to have come all the way to the top – only to miss out on the view.

Nick and I decided to take a different approach – and explore what else was lovely on the top of the mountain – even if there was no view.  And we weren’t disappointed!  Here’s what we found:
